Sekarang in PMC group sedang mengerjakan penelitian dengan tiga tema besar:

1.  UbiOne: Energy Efficient for Smart Office in Tropical Country

The UbiOne project will develop scalable energy-aware framework for offices that incorporates awareness of occupant’s and building context with the overall goal of energy saving for buildings in tropical region.  UbiOne approach is built on cooperative sensing, context information processing, activity recognition and device actuation in large-scale distributed sensor networks to minimize energy consumption.The motivation of addressing office building stems from the amount of energy the building account for: more than 60% in Indonesia. In the forum United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Indonesian government has pledged to cut carbon emissions by 26% by 2020. Hence, towards a low carbon economy, making smarter use of energy in offices will fundamentally contribute to energy and cost savings.

2. DiL@C: Digital_Life@Campus

Research in the DiL@C Project is focused on building an environment for digital activities, especially for academic purposes. There are three different focuses: representation of avatars, characteristics and behaviour of avatars, and interaction between avatars, as shown in the following figure.

3. Mobile Tourism in Yogyakarta

This community outreach project is conducted in three regions in Yogyakarta: Bantul, Kuloprogo and Gunung Kidul. Aimed to promote tourism based on mobile technology. Receive funding from PHK-I schema of DIKTI Indonesia.
